Van der Heijden Nederland develops and produces packaging and has experience in almost every sector in the area of packaging. A large number of automotive manufacturers are among our customers. This sector requires a special approach and knowledge. One activity has arisen from having these contacts: making accessory kits. This activity fits very well into the “thinking in solutions” definition. The automotive industry has mastered logistical processes like no other. Making accessory kits is a complex and small-scaled business and it is mainly used in the after-sales market.

Obviously, it would not be a problem for this sector to assemble these kits themselves, but this would involve enormous costs due to the varied and small-scale requirements. Van der Heijden Nederland has developed a method to direct this process with absolutely zero mistakes. We develop and produce the packaging for these kits, and purchase the various components from suppliers designated by the manufacturer, on the terms agreed upon by the manufacturer. In other words, we take care of things from beginning to end: From purchasing components up to delivery of completely assembled and packed products.
